Biographical Information[edit]
Goichi Kubo signed with the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1950, and he hit .067/.125/.111 in 21 games in his first season. He struggled again in 1951, and his batting line was .192/.236/.237 in 67 games, though he did steal nine bases in ten tries. Kubo was 4-for-40 in 1952, and he announced his retirement.
