Geoff Fox started off his collegiate playing career at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, AZ. After being a two-time first team All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference selection, he transferred to Mesa State College in Grand Junction, CO where he was a 2 time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference champion and helped his team make two NCAA Division-II super regional appearances.

Fox began his coaching career at Palm Desert High School for one year as an assitant coach. He then moved to Saddleback College as the assistant head coach over 7-seasons. From 2013-2019, Fox was at Chapman University as the Panthers' recruiting coordinator and assistant coaching roles where they went 140-72 over his time there.

He was named head coach of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (AZ) to start the schools baseball team. In their first year, Fox was named the 2022 California Pacific Conference coach of the year.
