Biographical Information

Genki Kawano was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 2nd round of the development phase in the 2009 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first four seasons. He was 1-for-16 in 2013, but he only got one more at-bat for the top team before he announced his retirement in 2018.
