Biographical Information

Gabriel Gilbert has pitched for the Ecuadorian national team.

He was 1-2 with a save and a 15.68 ERA in junior college in the US in 2022-2023. He was the only player for Ecuador in the 2025 Bolivarian Games who was debuting with the team. He turned in a solid start against Bronze Medal winner Venezuela, allowing two hits and two runs in 5 innings (6 BB, 2 K) in a loss to Eduardo Figueroa. He also relieved against Silver Medalist Peru but allowed two runs in one inning in a loss to Ken Ishihara. He led the Games in walks (7) and losses.
