Biographical Information

Fumikazu Yamazaki signed with the Tokyo Senators in 1936, and he hit .194/.293/.250 in 18 games in the spring season. He was 3-for-21 in the fall season, and he missed the next three seasons probably due to military service. Yamazaki joined the Tsubasa club in 1940, and he recorded a .215/.275/.262 batting line in 68 games then he announced his retirement.

Overall, Yamazaki hit .206/.275/.252 with 67 hits in 3 seasons in NPB.
