Biographical Information

Fukuo Toiya was drafted by the Lotte Orions in the 4th round of the 1969 NPB draft, and he went 2-for-16 in 1971. He had a 3-for-19 record in 1972, and the Orions released him. Toiya returned with the Hiroshima Carp in 1974, but he only got 3 at-bats and he announced his retirement.
