Biographical Information

Fujio Nakamoto signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1958, and he was 7-13 with a 2.94 ERA in his first season. He was 7th in losses in the Central League, tied with Motoshi Fujita, Hiroomi Oyane and Sho Horiuchi. However, Nakamoto only pitched 14 more games before he announced his retirement in 1962.
