Biographical Information[edit]

Frederick Blychenton was a center fielder and backup catcher for the Panamanian national team that won Bronze in the 1959 Central American and Caribbean Games; he was only 2 for 18 but scored twice and stole three bases, tying Roberto Cota, Ossie Chavarria and Francisco López for third. He had 11 putouts, 4 assists and an error. [1] He had a brief career in the US, going 2 for 23 for the Michigan City White Caps.
