Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher/third baseman Fred Beckers was the Hoofdklasse MVP in 1971. [1] He played for Sparta and Feyenoord from 1968-1979. [2] He was on the Dutch national team in the 1970 Amateur World Series. [3] He won the 1971 European Championship and 1973 European Championship with the Netherlands. [4]
