In 1912 the Frankfort Lawmakers replaced the Frankfurt Statesmen as the Blue Grass League club in Frankfort, KY. The team did a fine job, going 85-42 to take the pennant. Poor attendance forced the league to shut down after the season, sending the Lawmakers to an early grave after one great year.
