Biographical Information[edit]

Franck Didot played in the Division Elite and for the French national team.

Statistics for French competitions prior to 1998 are unavailable online (as of 7/23/25). He hit .318/.444/.545 for France in the 1993 European Championship; only Philippe Bonnery had a better average among their regulars. He led the team in slugging and was 10th in the Euros, between Oswald Boermans and Johnny Balentina. He also had 10 putouts, one assist and no errors in center field; only Antonio Salazar and Marcos Berenguer had more chances without an error among center fielders in the event. [1]

He also appeared for France in the 1997 Intercontinental Cup, going 1-for-13 with a walk, double and a RBI, fielding .923 with one assist in five games in left field. His hit was off Diego Ricci of Italy. [2] He remained active in French baseball until 2019, but his last season in France's top league was 2002, when he was 2-5 with a 3.49 ERA and hit .275/.416/.406. [3]
