Team Bio[edit]
The Florence Redwolves were a Summer Collegiate Baseball team that played in the Coastal Plain League. The Redwolves played their home games at Sparrow Stadium in Florence, SC and were formed as one of the founding teams of the CPL in 1997. Originally located in Raleigh, NC and known as the Raleigh Redwolves, the Redwolves won the Coastal Plain League championship in their inaugural year with a 29-21 record. The Redwolves moved the following year to Florence, SC and became the Florence Redwolves. They fared poorly their first year in Florence but recovered quickly to make annual postseason appearances from 2001 through 2006.
In 2021 the team was renamed the Florence Flamingos.
