He had a 0.00 ERA to tie José Luis Quiroz and Carlos Martínez for the event lead. Guatemala won the Silver Medal. He remained with them for the 1997 Central American Games. It is possible he is the player listed as Cecilio Mira in the 1995 Pan American Games.
