Ernie Yum
Ernie Yum played for New South Wales. A Chinese-Australian, he scored the only run of the 1939 Claxton Shield final. He died in a car crash on November 2, 1943. [1] He was an inaugural inductee to the Baseball Australia Hall of Fame in 2005. He played first base and was known for his powerful throwing arm. [2] He played for Marrickville in the New South Wales Major League. [3]
