Ernie Yum

Ernie Yum played for New South Wales. A Chinese-Australian, he scored the only run of the 1939 Claxton Shield final. He died in a car crash on November 2, 1943. He was an inaugural inductee to the Baseball Australia Hall of Fame in 2005. He played first base and was known for his powerful throwing arm. He played for Marrickville in the New South Wales Major League.
