Biographical Information[edit]
Emil Fagerlund has played in the Elitserien and for the Swedish national team.
He was 0-1 with a 6.55 ERA for the 2022 Sundbyberg Heat, hitting .136/.240/.136. [1] He had a 0-1, 15.75 record in '23 and batted .167/.297/.222. [2] For the 2024 Karlskoga Bats, he produced at a .341/.420/.432 clip and was 0-1 with two saves and a 5.46 ERA. [3] He hit .240/.361/.260 in 2025 and was 10-for-11 in steals; he had a 6.48 ERA. He was 7th in swipes. [4]
In the 2025 European Championship, only Gustav Öijen was younger on Sweden's team. He debuted as the second baseman against #3 Czechia, striking out against Jeffrey Barto twice before Sam Börjes pinch-hit for him. He was 0-for-5 for the Euros and handled one assist. [5]
