Biographical Information[edit]
Ella Henson debuted for Great Britain in the 2025 European Women's Championship. She was the primary third baseman for the team. Her first plate appearance, she flew out against France's Camille Foucher. She finished 1-for-7 with 2 runs, 2 RBI, a walk, a hit-by-pitch and a steal; she fielded .583. Her hit was off the Czech Republic's Karolína Blažková. She led the event with 5 errors, one ahead of Jenny Kelders and Anouk Vergunst. It is presumable she was related to coach Erick Henson. Britain won their first European Women's Championship (having never won a men's European Championship to that point) and earning a spot in the 2026-2027 Women's Baseball World Cup. [1]
