Edward Alvarado
Biographical Information[edit]
Edward Alvarado played in Puerto Rico's amateur league in four decades, winning a Gold Glove and at least three pennants. [1] He was the primary catcher for the Puerto Rican national team in the 1995 Intercontinental Cup, going 4-for-10 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a double, two runs and three RBI. He fielded .960 and threw out one of four who tried to steal. [2]
