Biographical Information[edit]
Edgar Aineto played for the Spanish national team.
He was with Spain for the 2007 European Junior Championship. [1] With the senior national team for the 2007 Baseball World Cup, he relieved future major leaguer Rhiner Cruz and retired Andy LaRoche in a 12-2 loss to Team USA. His other outing, he allowed 5 runs in 1/3 IP against Mexico to finish with his team's highest ERA. [2] He was with the Astros Valencia in Spain in 2008. [3] He was with Spain for the 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament but did not get into a game. [4]
