Biographical Information

Doby Peters pitched a no-hitter for EDO against OVVO in 1958. He also hit well, batting .327 in 1962, tying Dolf de Zwart for second, .006 behind Simon Heemskerk. He was on the Dutch national team when they won the 1962 European Championship and 1965 European Championship. He coached ABC in 1969. He also played soccer for Haarlem and coached the AFC soccer team from 1980-1988.
