Biographical Information

Demetrius Mitchell was 8-4 with a save and a 4.56 ERA in 1999. He tied for the Southwestern Athletic Conference lead in wins and made the All-Conference team. He coached at Huffman High School before becoming assistant coach at Alabama A&M while working on his master's degree in 2009. He was then was appointed head coach of for 2010, but stepped down abruptly on March 17 as the team was heading for a game against Auburn University.
