Biographical Information[edit]
Daniel Liu has played for the Peruvian national team.
Liu was 0 for 3 with a walk, run and a RBI in the 2016 South American Championship and had two putouts. [1] He hit .375/.444/.500 in the 2018 Caribbean Baseball Cup, leading Peru in average and slugging. [2] In the 2019 Pan American Games, he started in left for Peru and went 2 for 10 with six whiffs while handling five putouts, one assist and one error. His hits both came off former major leaguers, the Dominican national team's Angel Castro and the Puerto Rican national team's Fernando Cabrera. [3]
