Biographical Information

Daisuke Naoe was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 3rd round of the 2018 NPB draft; the scout was Hiroshi Kisanuki. He stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2019, and he only got 3 appearances for the big club in 2020. Naoe suffered from spinal disc herniation, and he missed most of the season. He was 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA in 2021, then he pitched 9 games with a 3.38 ERA in 2022. Naoe's ERA was 3.86 in 16 relief outings in 2023, but he didn't reach the big club again before the Giants released him in 2025.
