Biographical Information

Daisuke Kanda was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 5th round of the 1996 NPB draft, and he only got 2 appearances combined for the big club in his first three seasons. He pitched 13 games with a solid 1.01 ERA in 2001, but he suffered from a right shoulder injury in 2002. He only got 5 appearances, and he announced his retirement.
