Biographical Information

Daisuke Iida was drafted by the Orix Buffaloes in the 7th round of the 2016 NPB draft, and he only got 5 at-bats for the big club in his first two seasons. He was 0-for-13 in 2019, and he announced his retirement in 2020. A light-hitting good fielder in the minors, he fielded .998 behind the dish in his pro career. He then became the bullpen coach of Orix.
