Biographical Information

Daigo Matsuoka signed with the Yakult Swallows in 1989, and he was 2-1 with a 2.63 ERA in 1996. He pitched 9 games with a 5.00 ERA in 1997, but he failed to return to the top team again before he announced his retirement in 1998. His uncle Hiromu Matsuoka also pitched in NPB.
