Biographical Information

Dai Yuasa has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Yuasa was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 8th round of the 2017 NPB draft; the scout was Shintaro Yoshitake. He stayed in the minors in his first two seasons, and he went 0-for-7 with the big club in 2020. Yuasa also hit .250/.345/.313 with 22 steals in the minors that season, and he led the Eastern League in steals. He played 33 games with a 5-for-13 record in 2021, and he had a 3-for-30 record in 63 games in 2022. Yuasa stayed in the minors for the entire 2023 season due to a finger injury, and he was 1-for-6 in 2024.
