Biographical Information

Outfielder Chuichi Takahashi was drafted by the Lotte Orions in the 6th round of the 1983 NPB draft, and he hit .280/.336/.392 in 55 games in his first season. He slumped to .171/.292/.171 in 1985, and he only got 6 at-bats combined in the next three seasons. Takahashi played 30 games with a .194/.229/.328 batting line in 1989, and he announced his retirement. after hitting .255/.406/.333 in 1990. Meisei High School named him their coach in 2017.
