Christopher Goossens has pitched for the RusStar Sharks in Moscow, Russia.
Goossens committed to the University of Hartford to play NCAA Division I baseball before spending a post-graduate year at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. He subsequently enrolled at Amherst College, where he was set to pitch for the Mammoths.[1] In 2026, he joined the RusStar Sharks to play professional baseball in the Russian Championship.[2][3]
Goossens made his professional debut on June 20, 2026, in relief against Spartak. He retired the one batter he faced on two pitches — both strikes — inducing a groundout to finish the inning, posting a 0.00 ERA in his first outing.[4]
