Biographical Information

Chitomi Takahashi signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1953, and he pitched 11 games with a 1.64 ERA in his first season. He was 2-6 with a 4.05 ERA in 1954, and he went 1-1 with a 4.60 ERA in 1955. Takahashi recorded a 4.36 ERA in 16 relief outings in 1956, then he announced his retirement in 1957. He later became the general manager of the Carp.
