Biographical Information[edit]
Chia-An Huang represented Taiwan in the 2001 World Youth Championship and 2003 Asian Junior Championship. The Seattle Mariners signed him in 2004 with a 700,000 dollar signing bonus; the scout was Jamey Storvick. Huang missed his first season due to shoulder injury, and he was 2-3 with a 2.96 ERA for the AZL Mariners in 2005. The Mariners then released him, and his professional career ended. Huang's brother Chia-Ming Huang and cousin Tzu-Hao Chen both played in the CPBL.
