Biographical Information[edit]

Chad Palomo was on the Guam national team in the 2011 Pacific Games. Batting 5th and playing third in their opener, he drew a walk from New Caledonia's Jacques Boucheron his first time up and came around to score. His first hit was off American Samoa's Louis Solaita. Entering the Gold Medal Game, he had gone 2-for-8 with 3 walks, a HBP, two steals in two tries, a double, four runs and two RBI in four games, fielding .875. He did not play in that game (which his team lost to the Northern Mariana Islands) as Joe Tuquero was used instead.
