Carson Thompson
- School Temple University
Carson Thompson was one of four pitchers for the USA in the 1936 Olympics; one of his staff mates was future major leaguer Bill Sayles. As Thompson spoke German, he was appointed to meet with Eva Braun, who had been given rights to a documentary on the Olympics. He helped introduce her to some of the background of baseball, a sport she was not familiar with.
