Biographical Information

Carlos Canelon played in the Houston Astros minor league system from 2014-2019. He spent his first three seasons in the Dominican Summer League. Canelon reached AA in both 2017 and 2019, albeit for only brief stints. Overall, he hit .209/.324/.276 in his six minor league seasons.

Canelon returned to the Astros organization as a coach with the DSL Astros Orange in 2023-2024. He then became a manager with the same club in 2025.
