Biographical Information

Brian Murphy has been a college coach.

Murphy was assistant coach at Bryant College from 2006-2009 then was at Brown University for three years. He was head coach of the College of William and Mary from 2014-2021, winning 30+ games four times there and winning Colonial Athletic Association Coach of the Year in 2014. He became head coach of Merrimack College for 2022. He was 114-140-2 in five seasons, winning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2026 and getting the team its first postseason win, then moved on to a job outside of baseball.
