Biographical Information

Atsumi Kobayashi was drafted by the Hankyu Braves in the second round of the 1983 NPB draft, and he was 1-0 with a 3.72 ERA in 1984. He then allowed 5 runs in 1 2/3 innings in 1986, and he had a 4.91 ERA in 7 games in 1987. Kobayashi pitched 7 games with a 6.75 ERA in 1988, then he announced his retirement in 1989.
