Biographical Information

Atori Ota was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 3rd round of the 2007 NPB draft, and he only played 6 game combined for the big club in his first two seasons. He was 0-7 with a 6.51 ERA in 2010, and he returned to the minors in the next two seasons; he only got 5 appearances for the top team. Ota went 2-4 with 5 holds and a 3.72 ERA in 38 relief oputings in 2013, but he only pitched 4 more innings before the BayStars released him in 2016. The Orix Buffaloes signed him, and he allowed 3 runs in 3 innings in 2017 then he announced his retirement.
