Biographical Information[edit]
Arthur Tsujiguchi debuted for the Brazilian national team in the 2026 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. He relieved Murilo Gouvêa in the 7th inning against pool champion Colombia when the bases were loaded, but he then recorded a wild pitch and Jair Camargo scored. Tsujiguchi forced Jesús Marriaga to ground out, and he walked Francisco Acuña in the next inning. He got Michael Arroyo out then Harold Ramírez grounded into a double play. Brazil won a spot in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, returning after a 13-year break. [1]
