Biographical Information[edit]

Anvioris Ramirez pitched in the Oakland Athletics system from 2006 to 2010, peaking at High-A. He had a breakout year his second campaign, going 3-4 with a 2.09 ERA in 14 games (10 starts) for the DSL Athletics 1 in 2007, but never again reached such heights. In his final season, he was 2-13 with a 5.27 ERA in 28 games (24 starts) between three clubs. In 2008, he led the Arizona League in home runs allowed with 14; he was 9 ahead of the #2 pitchers, Carlos Fortuna, Fray Martinez and Pedro Vidal.

Overall, he went 17-29 with a 4.14 ERA in 88 games (61 starts) over 5 seasons. In 380 2/3 innings, he allowed 398 hits and 88 walks (1.277 WHIP), while striking out 279 batters.
