Biographical Information

Infielder Angelys Nina began his professional career in the Colorado Rockies system in 2007. He slashed .323/.387/.457 with 24 stolen bases for the DSL Rockies that first year, earning a spot on the Dominican Summer League Post-Season All-Star team. He earned a Mid-Season All-Star selection in 2010, stealing 24 bases for the Asheville Tourists. In 2013, he was a Mid- and Post-Season All-Star and in 2015, he reached Triple A for the first time. In his second year at that level, 2015, he hit .300/.333/.402 with 18 stolen bases. The Philadelphia Phillies signed him for 2016, though he struggled and was released in June.
