Biographical Information

Andre Wood was primarily a second baseman during his six seasons (1978-1983) in the Toronto Blue Jays chain. However he also played outfield, second base, and a little bit of shortstop. Wood spent most of his time at Double A, but he did make it to Triple-A for 18 games in 1983. Over 704 total games in the minors, he hit .248 with 26 homers. He was with the Bahamas for the 2003 Pan American Games.
