Biographical Information[edit]
Alvaro Castillo played baseball at New Mexico Junior College and New Mexico State University. He completed his undergraduate degree in Sports Management in 2020 at Southern New Hampshire University.
The information on Castillo's working career from 2020-2024 is sparse. The following is drawn from his LinkedIn profile. In 2023 he was a Baseball Systems Associate for the St. Lucie Mets. Castillo moved to the New York Yankees organization in 2024 as a Player Development Technology Intern.[1]
The Texas Rangers hired Castillo to work as a pitching coach for the ACL Rangers in 2025-2026.
