Biographical Information[edit]

Alexandre Dovigo was MVP of the 1993 European Cupwinners Cup Pool B, playing for host Entente Thiais Brévannes. [1] In the 1994 Baseball World Cup, he split third base for the French national team with Sébastien Valazza, going 0 for 13 with two errors in six chances. [2] French stats prior to 1998 are unavailable online as of 9/3/25. In 1998, he hit .294/.433/.510 for the Jimmer's de Saint-Lô. He batted .281/.429/.494 for the '99 Jimmer's. [3]

He then spent a few years in the French minors. Returning in 2004 with the Paris Université Club, he posted a .282/.460/.388 batting line followed by .261/.417/.304 in '05. He was in the minors in 2006 and went 6-for-20 with a double and 3 walks in 2007. He then returned to the minor league Paris Patriots for 2008-2009. Back in the Division Elite in 2010, he was 4 for 15 with 2 walks and a double for the Montigny Cougars. At age 39, he was 4 for 19 with two walks for Montigny. He returned to the French minors from 2012-2015 then resurfaced in 2016 with the Paris Université Club, though he was 0 for 11 with a walk at age 44. He played one game for the 2017 Sénart Templiers and was 1 for 6 with two walks for them in 2021. At age 52, he was still playing in the French minors in 2024.
