Biographical Information

Akira Ichihara was drafted by the Lotte Orions in the 13th round of the 1968 NPB draft, and he only played 2 games before the Hankyu Braves picked him in the 1971 active draft. He didn't return to the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 1973.
