Biographical Information[edit]
While the name Billy Incell may not sound familiar in the baseball world, he is quite notable in the sense that he threw 3 no-hitters during his roughly 7-season-long minor league career that lasted from around 1881 to 1889. He primarily played for teams in San Francisco, CA.
His first no-hitter came while playing for the San Francisco Haverlys of the California League on September 21st, 1884 against the San Francisco Occidentals. His next one was the following year against the San Francisco Stars, on March 15th, 1885, and the year after that he did it again against the San Francisco Pioneers on July 18th, 1886.
