Biographical Information

Sixuan Liu has been on the Chinese women's national team.

When China debuted in the 2019 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she was their starting second baseman and hit third. She was 1-for-1 with a walk, steal, three runs and a RBI in a win over Pakistan. She drove in 8 runs the next game to beat India and scored their lone run in their Bronze Medal Game loss to the Philippines. China won a spot in the 2020 Women's Baseball World Cup but that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She hit .357/.375/.571 and fielded .895 for the event, with 5 runs and 9 RBI in 6 games. She tied Rina Kudoh and Jane Uh for 4th in RBI, leading China.

She hit .308/.400/.308 with two runs and two RBI in five games in the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, handled 8 chances error-free and also pitched, going 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA. She lost to Taiwan's Yu-Pei Chen then beat Indonesia's Siti Aisyah Nadia Putri, nearly getting a no-hitter as only Agnes Laura Berta Regoy connected safely. She led the Cup in IP (11 2/3, 1 ahead of Yik-Shan Hung), tied Min-sung Park for 6th with 6 batters fanned, tied for the most games pitched (4, even with Jiayi Fang, Hung and Yin-Sum Kwong), had the only complete game (and only shutout), was 3rd in hits allowed (15, behind Nawra Salma Fatima and Reshma Shivaji Punekar) and was 5th in runs allowed (15, between Fang and Athulya Chonamkandathil), tied for 4th with 8 walks issued and tied for 7th in earned runs (9).
