Biographical Information

Becky Cottrell was on the first British women's national team, at the 2022 European Women's Championship. She got into one game, relieving Jess Vernon with two outs, one on and a 12-2 deficit in the 5th against the Netherlands. She walked Kyra van Genderen and Magali de Rooy but struck out Kim Schindeler to escape the jam. In the bottom of the inning, she faced Ciska Welboren and reached on an error but was picked off. The game ended at the end of the 5th due to the mercy rule.
