Ramón Sotomayor (Moncho)
Ecuadorian national team outfielder Ramón Sotomayor scored the winning run in the 9th inning against Brazil in the 1966 South American Championship title game, driven in by Eloy Guerrero. Through 2025, it remained Ecuador's last title in an international baseball tournament.
