Libertys of Norwalk

The Libertys of Norwalk played in the National Association of Base Ball Players beginning in 1866 and lasted until at least 1869. As of 2026, the earliest report that protoball.org documents of the club is by The Hartford Connecticut Courant from March 29, 1866. It reads as follows: "State matters. Two base ball clubs are to be organized in Norwalk." Future major leaguers Tim Murnane and Frank Buttery were with the Libertys in 1869.
