Biographical Information

Niomar Gomez pitched in the Washington Nationals organization from 2017-2023 and spent his career in the lower levels of their minor league system. He appeared in 55 games (38 starts), going 7–12 with a 5.32 ERA and 180 strikeouts in 187 2/3 innings.

The Nationals retained Gomez' services after his retirement. Gomez worked as an assistant pitching coach with the DSL Nationals from 2024-2026.
