Middle Georgia State University

Middle Georgia State University was formed on Jan 8, 2013 from the consolidation of Middle Georgia College and Macon State College. It was known as Middle Georgia State College from 2013-2015. For 2013-2014 they competed in the NJCAA while the college was still in a transition phase before moving up to the NAIA in 2015. In 2026, Middle Georgia State will join the Peach Belt Conference in the NCAA Division II.
